CASE STUDY
A roadmap to relief
Driving non-profits toward relief from ever-increasing budgets, pressure, and beyond
With new legislation and tax breaks encouraging sustainable energy popping up all the time, it’s hard to keep up. And hard to take action.
11 Million Acres can help you navigate the complexity - and get you moving quickly and efficiently.
This is what we did with Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago (BGCC), reducing costs by 20% on the way to a solar-powered future.
BGCC needed energy efficiency upgrades to their buildings to reduce energy spend and provide more comfortable environment for kids and staff.
They also needed to replace failing equipment like HVAC, boilers, and pool pumps. We took advantage of lucrative rebates and incentives to wholly benefit BGCC.
Here’s what we did together:
1
BUILT A ROADMAP
and then navigated the complexity to deliver much needed energy efficiency upgrades and equipment replacement
2
PAIRED THE PROJECT SCOPE
with rebates and tax incentives to reduce the project cost by nearly 20%
3
FINANCED THROUGH SAVINGS
by allowing BGCC to pay for the project over time, using energy and operating savings, preserving their CapEx budget and building budget certainty
And here it is, by the numbers:
Saved
$1.6M
in upfront costs
Secured
$200K
in utility rebates
Secured
$100K
in tax incentives
Now what?
Let’s talk and figure out how to build out your unique roadmap based on the incentives available to you and the challenges your business is facing.
